Right off the bat and you deserve proper nouns. Thanks for following this, my humble fashion blog. I hope you find self-confidence & lol’s herein.
Anyway, GET TO THE GOODS!
Costume for the Day:
- My FAV black chevron tights. Believe-it-or-not these bad boys come from Target and probably set me out like $10 max.
- Short rolled denim shorts from Urban Outfitters. NOTE! These are from a few seasons ago and I do not recommend current short-shorts from UO because they show off birth canals. And as some of you know, we (read: I) here at CFTD are not into showing off birth canals (Dood, it’s your vag).
- Awesome thrifted gauze cotton woven floral top. Buttons up the back (it could be the front, one never knows unless there are darts)
- Black plastic hoop earrings

softlyinsane asked: I love your drawings:) x

Thanks! I love your choker!

Anonymous asked: Any recommendations on favorite cheap watercolors? And cheap/good sketchbooks? Thanks!:)

Personally, I do almost all my CFTD paintings/sketches on Strathmore 400 series Mixed Media paper. It provides the smooth surface of expensive hot press watercolor paper while retaining the weight of any watercolor paper. As far as paints go - there are A LOT of options. For most of CFTD I sketch with Van Gogh’s travel watercolor set. It’ll get you through & the colors are pretty vibrant. There! That only set you out like $30! Now go out and paint <3

thisfangirlneedshelp asked: I love your designs so much!!!! haha I wish I had your talent! love you xoxo

Aw! I love YOU! And I bet you are super talented. BELIEVE my friend, believe!

Anonymous asked: Could you maybe do more Movie-Themed outfits? I absolutely adore the Ghibli one's you did!!

I would LOVE to do more! Do you have any ideas?

mermaidd94 asked: Could you possibly write where you got some of your clothing if you can remember where they're from? (Mainly shoes) bc I am in love with all of your shoes. I prefer closed toe shoes, but I never find any cute ones :/

Gah - I try and put in links sometimes. I will be more diligent. Honestly, they are mostly from thrift-stores tho.

miamomentsss asked: Loveeeee your boarddddd💕💕

Aw, gee thanks <3 I like YOU!

gregorygarvinnyc asked: What motivated you to use water paint in your designs?

Well my aunt is a pretty prolific water colorist. I really admired her when I was growing up. And now it’s really my medium of choice ^_^ Thanks for the questions! Keep em comin!

Yep. I wore a jersey cotton romper. Out-of-doors. Into the world - one might add. All nuditied up and ready to romp.
Costume for the Day:
- Light grey heather jersey cotton romper with embroidered detail at center-front neck-line
- Black racer-back tank top
- Grey gauze knee-length slouch socks
- Black faux-pearl earrings
- Black fabric tie-belt (Lez be honest - this is just the tie-belt to some other floral whatcha-ma-who-sit I got at the thrift store)
- Black suede ankle boots with metal detail at toe & heel
